This topic is from the chapter gravitation of CBSE class 9. We have to find the pressure exerted by the block on the surface.
Here, the weight of the block on a table top will remains same in both the cases, but the pressure exerted on the table top will be different because of different contact areas.
So finally we get a huge difference in pressures in both the cases.
